Sesame Spice Crusted Salmon With Lime Crema

I LOVE salmon and the benefits of eating omega rich foods so I am always trying to find ways to incorporate it without getting bored, this recipe hit the spot.

2 slices of organic salmon

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp cayenne

1 tbsp olive oil

Lime Crema

1/3C greek yogurt

1 lime (zest and juice)

1/2 tsp sea salt

  1. Preheat oven to 400F

  2. In a bowl mix together sesame seeds and spices

  3. Drizzle olive oil over salmon and apply crust; press into salmon to ensure it sticks

  4. Cook salmon for 18-20 minutes 

  5. In a bowl mix together lime cream ingredients

  6. Serve with rice and sautéed peppers

Pro tip: You can switch out half of the sesame seeds for hemp hearts to get more protein and omegas in; this is completely optional!
