For me, the only way to succeed is to make sure that I have healthy snacks on hand and that requires meal prepping.. I will give you some snack idea's that I like to keep readily available! All of these recipes involve protein, fat and fibre; the three keys to making sure you are satisfied!!
• BIRTHDAY CAKE PROTEIN BALLS •
Because sprinkles make everything better. 🥳
What you’ll need:
1 C Almond Flour
1/4 C almond butter Cashew butter also works!)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (discount code below!!)
2 tbsp Maple syrup
1 tsp almond extract
1 tbsp coconut oil
Mix, Roll, INDULGE! ** Best Kept in the fridge or freezer **
Sweet n’ salty nuts
3 C nuts of choice
4 TBSP maple Syrup
1/4 TSP cinnamon
1 TSP salt
Mix all ingredients, bake at 325F for 20 minutes,
sprinkle with a little more sea salt, let cool and enjoy!
CHUNKY Nut Butta G'Nola!
1 C oats
2 TBSP melted coconut oil
3TBSP nut butter of choice
2 TBSP maple syrup
1 TSP Vanilla
1/2 TSP cinnamon
1/2C nuts/seeds (I added hemp hearts and pumpkin seeds, but any nuts and seeds will do!) Bake at 325F for 20-25 mins, let cool for 10 minutes and then stick in the freezer for 10 minutes (this is key for getting solid chunky granola) and break into chunks!
Perfect for smoothies, snacking or even as a cereal!
